Climbing Mont Toubkal that culminates at 4167m, offers a wonderful view on the entire High Atlas. The walk takes a minimum of two days.

Mont Toubkal dominates the High Atlas and its altitude ranges from 1200 to 4167m with high plateaus, cliffs, passes, gorges, green oak or juniper forests, ridges, waterfalls, a lake (Ifni lake) and rivers providing irrigation to the valleys.

Stone villages whose inhabitants live in the shade of nut trees can be found in valleys or perched on a hill.

Djebel Toubkal benefits from an alpine climate, meaning that snow covers the mountain between November and April.

Mont Toubkal is 60km from Marrakech. It allows many trekking possibilities ranging from 2 to 10 days and departing from Imlil or Setti Fatma.

The multiple-day hikes and ascent of the summit are mainly organized in the summer. It is possible to walk for 2 to 3 days around Imlil from April to October.
