It is the valley of the M’Goun river, affluent of the Dadès oued, that begins in the foothills of the mountain and irrigates the whole lower region of Kelaat M’Gouna.

Inhabitants grow the famous « rosa damascena » and extract rose oil, used in cosmetic.

The region abounds with fruit, grown in « gardens » thanks to a clever and efficient drainage system.

The valley is bordered by rocky wrinkled foothills of different shades of pink.  Along it, the Berbere villages merge into the rocks. There are also a lot of kasbahs.

The country provides many trekking opportunities, depending on the number of days you want to walk and your level of fitness. It allows for a fantastic and unforgettable discovery of some of the most beautiful Moroccan landscapes, together with an encounter with the Berbere culture and the population still living according to ancestral traditions.
